TOTALLY CARING

This mentorship program provides an in-depth understanding of the Total Patient Care model, a holistic approach to nursing practice where one nurse is responsible for the comprehensive care of assigned patients during a shift. Designed for nursing students and practicing nurses, the course emphasizes individualized care, continuity, and accountability in clinical settings.

Participants will learn to:
    •    Deliver holistic, patient-centered care across physical, emotional, social, and spiritual domains
    •    Develop and implement individualized care plans
    •    Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams while maintaining primary responsibility
    •    Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment in prioritizing care
    •    Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers

The mentorship program combines theoretical instruction with case-based scenarios and simulation exercises, ensuring learners are prepared to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
